Champion Profile
Ron Emmons
Back-to-back 2012 & 2013 champion — the rarest achievement in WGH history.
Ron Emmons — Championship Record
Ron Emmons has 2 World’s Greatest Horseman titles: 2012, 2013. Each championship required performance across the event’s four tests with one horse and rider.
Emmons and Olena Oak won in both 2012 and 2013. Ron Ralls and Russell Dilday also won titles in consecutive calendar years.
Four Events, One Partnership
Herd work, rein work, steer stopping and cow work test different skills. Each title is a record of the horse and rider’s combined performance at that championship.
